Jennie marks Ruby's 1st anniversary with special album and Copenhagen sauna post

Jennie is in Copenhagen. On July 4, the BLACKPINK member posted a photo of herself sitting on a blanket inside a warmly lit sauna, captioning it "copenhagenagainandagain."

The trip lands in the middle of a busy anniversary run. July 6 brought Ruby (The Complete Collection), a special album marking one year since her first solo full-length Ruby dropped on March 7, 2025. A day earlier, on July 5, she opened the pop-up "A Year in Ruby" at The Hyundai Seoul.

Ruby peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 and spent 11 weeks on the chart. It also reached No. 3 on the UK Official Albums Chart. The title track like JENNIE earned five music show wins and a triple crown. The album's tracklist included pre-release singles Mantra, Love Hangover, and ExtraL, plus the special single You & Me.

Her 2018 single SOLO hit 1 billion views on YouTube (the first female K-pop solo act to do so) and crossed 300 million streams on Spotify. That's the distance she's traveled as a soloist.

Beyond music, Jennie has been a fixed cast member on MBC variety show Manito Club since its February 1 premiere. She appears alongside Dex, Choo Sung-hoon, Noh Hong-chul, and Lee Su-ji.
