Ji Chang-wook and Imada Mio lead Merry Berry Love, a CJ ENM–Nippon TV co-production premiering on Disney+ in October

Merry Berry Love lands globally on Disney+ in October. It's the first drama co-produced between CJ ENM and Japan's Nippon TV.

Ji Chang-wook plays Lee Yu-bin, a Korean space planner who crashes after hitting major success. He heads to Charo Island to recover. This is his first romance role in three years. Imada Mio, a Japanese actress, plays Shirahama Karin—a strawberry farmer on the island whose life collides with his.

Nam Yoon-soo rounds out the cast as Park Gu-nam, a working-holiday youth at Charo Island's Asahi Sankai supermarket nursing an unrequited love for Mari. Kumada Rin'ka plays Mizuno Mari, Karin's best friend and a tarot counselor focused on romance.

Kim Su-jung and Noh Young-seop direct. Lee Jae-yoon wrote it. In Japan, Nippon TV will air it weekly on Wednesdays—their first co-production with a Korean company.
