Kwon Eunbi marks 11 years in the industry, signs with RBW, and promises a new album

Eleven years in, Kwon Eunbi signed with RBW in April 2026 and is gearing up for a second-half comeback. She reflected on the journey in a July interview.

Kwon Eunbi hit 11 years since her debut. In a new interview published July 18, 2026, she looked back on the run — and forward to what comes next.

Two things landed back-to-back: a 'The Best Stage' trophy at ASEA 2026, then an exclusive contract with RBW in April 2026. On the label switch, she was direct. "What struck me most was ultimately people," she said. She described a process of many conversations in which she felt the label genuinely listened and thought through her direction alongside her. "I gained confidence that I could move forward with RBW in a good direction."

At the ASEA stage itself she made a public promise: "I will come back with an even better album after waiting so long." The album she has in mind is specific. She wants something that makes people say 'That's definitely Kwon Eunbi' — keeping the bold, high-intensity image she's built while adding, in her words, "deeper and more mature emotional lines."

The second half of 2026 is earmarked for what she calls a 'new Kwon Eunbi' — more candid sides musically, on stage, and as a person.

On performing, she's clear about where she feels most herself. "I think I am most honest on stage," she said. Being recognized as someone who performs well means more to her than generic praise. Her pre-show ritual is simple: when nerves tighten her body, she tells herself "Let's enjoy it!" Eleven years in and the pep talk still works.

Looking back at the full stretch, she described it as running forward frantically, too focused on surviving each day to stop and check in with herself. "I tried very hard," she said now. "I didn't give up and kept enduring with just the desire to do well." If she could reach back, she'd tell her younger self: "You're doing much better than you think."

Singing, variety, DJ work — she frames all of it the same way: sharing hearts with people. The label is new, the album is coming, and the eleven-year drive is still running.
