D.O., Joy, Kwon Eun-bi and BIG Naughty line up for '더 시즌즈-성시경의 고막남친'
D.O. premieres 'Guitarist,' Joy sings 'Hello' for the first time in 5 years, and BIG Naughty makes his final broadcast before enlistment on KBS 2TV's Sept. 11 episode.
Four guests, one packed episode
KBS 2TV's 더 시즌즈-성시경의 고막남친 brought D.O., Joy, Kwon Eun-bi, and BIG Naughty together on September 11 at 10:20 PM.
D.O. started with Popcorn, a track that's been climbing charts again after weddings embraced it as an entrance song. He then unveiled Guitarist for the first time live. Sung Si-kyung's signature song 너의 모든 순간 came next, performed on the spot.
Joy on Red Velvet's contract anxiety
Five years had passed since Joy last performed 안녕 (Hello). She wrote the lyrics herself for this remake of Park Hye-kyung's 안녕, which became her solo debut title track. Red Velvet had just wrapped their full-group comeback—their first in two years.
The contract renewal period weighed on her. "During the contract renewal season, I was very anxious that the team would end," she said. In the duet segment 두 사람, she and Sung Si-kyung sang 칵테일 사랑 together.
Sung Si-kyung brought up the time Joy remade his hit 좋을텐데. "I expected a duet with an idol, but he did it with Paul Kim," he said, his tone notably bitter.
Kwon Eun-bi skips Waterbomb, shows up here instead
Kwon Eun-bi performed Underwater and new song DEJAVU. Then she threw in an impromptu run of IZ*ONE's debut La Vie en Rose. Asked why she skipped Waterbomb this year, she was direct: "That's why I came here."
BIG Naughty's last broadcast before enlistment
BIG Naughty performed Vancouver 2 and confirmed this episode marks his final broadcast before enlisting as a social service worker. His last music release before service is 노스탈지아, which he called "a birthday gift I made for my mom." She appeared in the music video and came to the recording to support him. He closed with a surprise live performance for her.
