Park Jin Young's reggae-toned 'WET' drops July 23 as the official theme for Waterbomb 2026—his first summer release since the 2020 Sunmi duet.

WET arrives July 23, 2026. His first summer track in six years.
The last one was 2020's When We Disco with Sunmi. This new single serves as the official main theme for Waterbomb 2026. Park Jin Young calls it "a reggae-toned genre song that fits Waterbomb and matches summer." He'll perform at both the Seoul and Busan stages this year, following his 2025 appearance.
The prep has been serious. "The biggest difference between this year's Waterbomb and last year's Waterbomb is body fat percentage," he said. "Single-digit body fat for the first time since age 25." He continued: "I worked really hard to achieve single-digit body fat, so I will use it to the fullest."
Park Jin Young debuted in 1994 with 날 떠나지마 (Don't Leave Me) and founded JYP Entertainment in 2001. He also became the first entertainer to serve as chairman of the Public Culture Exchange Committee at ministerial level. (The man has a full resume and he still wants to be seen as a rookie on stage—his words, not ours.)
"I hope to remain in your eyes as an energetic and exciting singer like a rookie artist on stage," he said. Being able to entertain and comfort his audience is what makes him happy.
