Jeong Han walked out of mandatory military service on June 25. Now he's teaming up with SEVENTEEN bandmate Joshua on a unit project targeting an October album.

Jeong Han and Joshua are forming a new SEVENTEEN unit, with an October album release as their target.
Jeong Han finished roughly 1 year and 9 months of mandatory military service as a social service worker. His discharge came June 25, making him the first SEVENTEEN member to complete the requirement. The Joshua unit marks his first major move since leaving.
Within SEVENTEEN, Jeong Han sings and co-leads the vocal unit. He's also a songwriter. His solo work includes the digital single Better Half, which dropped in January 2025 in Korean and Japanese. He was part of JxW with Wonwoo, which released THIS MAN.
On the group side, he appeared on SEVENTEEN's 2024 mini album SPILL THE FEELS, best album 17 IS RIGHT HERE, Japanese single 消費期限, and the 2025 full-length HAPPY BURSTDAY. All 13 members—S.Coups, Jeong Han, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, Dokyeom, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino—renewed their contracts with Pledis Entertainment for a second term. Full-group activities are on the horizon. The group also held the '2026 SVT 10TH FAN MEETING SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND' at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium. (SEVENTEEN debuted in 2015 with 17 CARAT.)
The Jeong Han x Joshua unit hasn't revealed its concept or track list yet.
