Solar calls Singapore "the best" as MAMAMOO's 4WARD world tour rolls on
Solar thanked Singapore fans on Aug. 1 after MAMAMOO's July 31 stop. Manila, New York, Chicago, and LA remain on the 4WARD tour schedule.
Solar wrapped MAMAMOO's July 31 Singapore date with five words: "Singapore was the best."
August 1 brought a thank-you post to local fans. The tour had already touched Seoul Olympic Hall in June, then Kaohsiung and Macau before Singapore. Next stops: Manila, New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles, all part of MAMAMOO 2026 WORLD TOUR [4WARD].
Solar — Kim Yong-seon, 34, leader and main vocalist of MAMAMOO — has kept busy outside the group this year. March saw a Chinese-language single, 總有一顆屬於你的星球 (Your Own Star), a collaboration with band Accusefive. A solo version dropped in April and hit No. 1 on Taiwan iTunes Top Songs. She also won Singer of the Year at the Weibo Gala 2026 Weibo Cultural Exchange Night in Macau.
Her solo work stretches back to 2020's SPIT IT OUT. She took writing and composition credits on Spit it out, HONEY, and Colors. On screen, she made her film debut in 2025's Gwissi, playing Mi-yeon.
MASAMOO debuted in 2014 with the digital single Happiness Don't Come Easy and mini album Hello. Their catalog spans Um Oh Ah Yeh, Nan is Mwon Deul, Yes I Am, gogobebe, Decalcomanie, and HIP. (The US leg of 4WARD is the one Western fans have been waiting for.)
