The former Apink member will play Sang-a, a company employee with secrets, opposite So Ji-sub in the upcoming SBS Friday-Saturday drama.

Son Naeun is heading to SBS. The 31-year-old actress will appear in Kim Bujang, a new Friday-Saturday drama scheduled to air in 2026, playing Sang-a — a company employee who works alongside the titular Kim Bujang and carries secrets of her own. So Ji-sub is her co-star.
Son Naeun debuted in 2011 as center and sub-vocalist for girl group Apink on their first mini album Seven Springs of Apink, a role she held until 2022. She started acting in 2012 with the film Gamunui Gwihwan (가문의 귀환), playing Eun Hee-jae.
Her drama credits include Cinderella and Four Knights (Park Hye-ji), Would You Like a Dinner Together? (Jin No-eul), Ghost Doctor (Oh Su-jeong), and The Agency (강한나 — set in the advertising industry). Most recently she played Byeon Mi-rae in Family X Melo in 2024.
On variety, she built a public profile through We Got Married, Running Man, Weekly Idol, and Gamseong Camping. She also recently joined MBC every1's Hotel Dokkaebi as a cast member running a Jeju hanok hotel.
Kim Bujang shifts her toward heavier dramatic work. Opposite So Ji-sub, the bar is set.
