Taeyeon's J-POP remake hit No. 1 on Bugs within hours of its June 29 drop, with Lisence members Won-i and Minami in the music video.

만찬가 landed at No. 1 on Bugs' real-time and daily charts right after its June 29 release. It also topped YouTube Music's trending videos in Korea and cracked Melon's TOP100.
The track kicks off Taeyeon's J-POP REMAKE project—a Korean-language take on an original by Japanese singer-songwriter Tsuki. Won-i and Minami from Lisence (리센느) appear in the music video.
Online reactions have been glowing. "The adaptation is so good," one comment read. Another: "It sounds like Japanese while the Korean lyrics flow naturally." Fans praised how "Taeyeon's voice matches the song's atmosphere well." One stood out in particular: "I came to see Lisence but got captivated by Taeyeon's tone."
Taeyeon debuted with Girls' Generation in 2007 and went solo in 2015. Since then she's juggled group, unit, and solo work. The chart success comes as a new project called Hyorisoo (효리수)—featuring Hyoyeon, Yuri, and Sooyoung—looms.
