ALD1's Rio guest hosts weather on JTBC News '아침&' Aug 31, reprising his role from the 'OMG!' MV as the group floods variety shows post-comeback.
ALPHA DRIVE ONE leader Rio will appear as a guest weather caster on JTBC News 아침& on August 31, delivering the weather segment on the morning broadcast. He already played a weather caster in the music video for OMG!, the title track off the group's prologue single No School Tomorrow.
The appearance slots into a packed variety run since the mini album 2, UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST, dropped. ALD1 has appeared on KBS 2TV's 개그콘서트. They hit tvN's 놀라운 토요일. Web content stops included 동해물과 백두은혁, 트루만쇼, 아이돌 인간극장, 조현아의 평범한 목요일 밤. SBS Power FM's 박소현의 러브게임 got them too. Member Junseo took on a reporter role on MBC's 생방송 오늘 아침 — a first for an idol on that show.
International momentum is rolling. The group appeared on US local morning news Good Day LA and as guests on Apple Music radio. A US album release is confirmed for October, marking ALD1's first album drop in the American market.
On the competition front, ALPHA DRIVE ONE is among the pre-vote candidates for THE SHOW episode 398, airing September 1. Pre-voting runs through August 31 at 10 AM via BIGC CHOICE on the BIGC platform, split into two categories: live broadcast first-place candidate and Fan Pick Cam.
