ALPHA DRIVE ONE drops 'Talk to me' MV with cinematic beach visuals
ALD1 dropped the music video for 'Talk to me' at midnight on October 27. Their mini album is already charting across three US Billboard categories.
Midnight drop, ocean dreams
ALPHA DRIVE ONE (ALD1) released the music video for digital single Talk to me at midnight on October 27 via their official YouTube channel. The track pairs Indie Alt-Pop with refreshing synth and R&B groove layered over an ocean-reminiscent soundscape. Individual vocal colors and soft delivery sit atop lyrics centered on excitement and romance.
The MV is cinematic and romantic throughout. Members appear at travel destinations, their expressions capturing the feeling of being with a romantic partner. Standout moments come when they're swimming underwater and floating on the surface—scenes that blur reality and fantasy. Wet-hair styling and beach backdrops anchor the video. Direct camera eye contact and precise facial expressions deliver the song's romantic sensibility.
Billboard entry in debut year
The single arrives while ALD1 rides momentum from their mini 2nd album UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST, released in the United States on October 2. On the US Billboard chart dated October 17, the album placed 5th on World Album, 9th on Emerging Artists, and 20th on Top Album Sales. All in their debut year. They're now in their second week of music broadcast activities with Talk to me.
(The fanbase has a name: ALLYZ.)
ALD1 also teased their first-ever season greeting product, ALPHA DRIVE ONE 2027 SEASON'S GREETINGS [ALD1 GARAGE], through official SNS. The concept frames a garage hideout where ALD1 and ALLYZ become one crew sharing a journey together.
