Grande's rep confirms a rest period after the London finale, plus a withdrawal from the Broadway-bound 'Sunday in the Park with George' set for summer 2027.

Ariana Grande wraps the Eternal Sunshine world tour on September 1 in London, then steps back from public life, her representative confirmed.
She will take a break from the external activities and public appearances that have "caused endless public speculation," the rep said. Grande is "expected to finish the tour healthy and happy and end on a high note." No return timeline was given.
Grande is also withdrawing from the musical Sunday in the Park with George, scheduled to open in summer 2027. She had been attached to the production before deciding to pull back.
The announcement comes as she released a new single, Petal, with a music video. The song dropped while the tour is still running.
Grande had previously asked fans to stop disparaging or evaluating others' appearances—a statement that now sits alongside the public speculation her rep referenced.
