ILLIT's 'Cherish (My Love)' crosses 214 million Spotify streams, group's fourth 200M song

Cherish (My Love) logged 214,141,157 cumulative Spotify streams as of August 9. The song crossed 200 million plays, joining ILLIT's exclusive club.

Four tracks total have hit that threshold now. Tick-Tack and NOT CUTE ANYMORE are the other two. Beyond that, Lucky Girl Syndrome, 빌려온 고양이 (Do the Dance), and jellyous each cleared 100 million. Seven songs with nine-figure stream counts on Spotify.

Their debut Magnetic towers over everything else—800 million streams in roughly two years and one month. No K-pop group debut song has reached that figure faster.

Cherish (My Love) anchors ILLIT's second mini-album I'LL LIKE YOU. The dance-pop track spins around a simple hook: "Ch ch ch ch cherish my love." It charted on both the Billboard Global 200 and Global (Excluding US) on arrival.

Japanese releases are fueling the run too. The 2nd album I Got Your Back shipped over 100,000 units in its first three days and earned Gold certification from the Japan Record Association in July. Its title track I Got Your Back (Feat. JISOO, MOMOKA of HANA) debuted at number 2 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100. That single and the April mini-album title track It's Me are both charting on Line Music, Spotify Japan, and Apple Music Japan.
