ILLIT x HANA collab track headlines 30,000-strong LuckyFes'26 set in Japan
ILLIT performed 8 songs at LuckyFes'26 on Aug. 9 in Ibaraki, Japan, opening with their HANA-featuring Japanese single title track before roughly 30,000 people.
I Got Your Back — the title track of ILLIT's second Japanese single, featuring JISOO and MOMOKA of Japanese girl group HANA — opened ILLIT's set at LuckyFes'26 on August 9 at Hitachi Beach Park in Ibaraki Prefecture.
About 30,000 people attended. ILLIT ran through 8 songs total. After I Got Your Back (Feat. JISOO, MOMOKA of HANA) came Almond Chocolate and Magnetic, both charting long-term on Japanese music platforms. Then jellyous, Mamihlapinatapai, I'll Like You, and oops!, closing with It's Me.
The festival appearance came a day after a separate new-album release event on August 8 at Diversity Tokyo Plaza Festival Square, which drew roughly 10,000 people.
Bringing JISOO and MOMOKA into the mix makes strategic sense. They carry an established Japanese fanbase into a track ILLIT is already pushing hard in the market. ILLIT has also staged joint performances with Japanese girl group CUTIE STREET at Fuji TV's 2026 FNS Kayosai Summer and Mezamashi WANGAN Festival.
(The group debuted in March 2024 and has released Magnetic, Borrowed Cat (Do the Dance), and Not Cute Anymore among their titles.)
