KARD kicks off final world tour August 8 before disbanding after DSP contract ends

KARD's world tour opens August 8 — and when it wraps, so does the group.

The four-member co-ed group debuted in 2017. On July 6, they announced the end of their activities after their contract with DSP Media concluded. This tour is their final scheduled activity as a group.

It follows the release of Where To Now? Part.2 : Nowhere, KARD's first full-length album, marking their 10th anniversary since debut. Title track Back To Life was co-written by all four members. The song draws on the group's early sound with a fresh atmosphere compared to signature tracks Hola Hola and Oh NaNa.

BM reflected on the group's last music broadcast appearance: "Yesterday was our last music broadcast, and I found myself staring at the stage for a long time. I sincerely thank everyone who has been with us so far."

Jeon So-min looked ahead. "Each of us will grow in our own place and then we will definitely reunite as KARD again."

The world tour is the last item on the calendar before the lights go out — for now, at least.
