Kim Ji-seok plays a wedding dress designer navigating divorce in KBS Drama's 'Geurae, Ihonhaja'

KBS Drama's 그래, 이혼하자 (Geurae, Ihonhaja / Okay, Let's Divorce) premieres August 19 at 11 PM, with Kim Ji-seok and Lee Min-jung leading the cast.

Kim Ji-seok plays Ji Won-ho, representative and designer of the wedding dress shop 지앤화이트 (Ji & White). Lee Min-jung is his wife, Baek Mi-young. The two co-own the shop and decide to end their exhausted marriage—framed as a "real divorce experience" for the couple.

Kim Ji-seok described Ji Won-ho as someone who appears hot-tempered and stubborn to the world. Underneath, though, he's "a lonely husband and man who carries an indelible wound and comforts himself alone." He watched divorce-related programs to prepare for the role.

On working with Lee Min-jung, Kim Ji-seok said the chemistry felt instant: "Did we originally work together on a few projects?" (They hadn't—that's the point.)

He also laid out the show's core idea: "It's a story that shows in detail the process of lovers who once loved so much that they seemed willing to pick stars from the sky becoming a couple and eventually reaching divorce."
