Lee Mi-joo admits she researched Ahn Hyo-seop and rearranged her schedule to appear on Know Bros

She came for one reason

Lee Mi-joo showed up to JTBC's Know Bros (episode 548, October 24) as a daily host with a very specific goal in mind. "I took the guest spot," she said on air. "I came just for today."

The cast of JTBC's upcoming drama Final Table had been scheduled: Ahn Hyo-seop, Hong Hwa-yeon, Jung Yu-jin, and Jang Ryul. When host Kang Ho-dong asked how much older she was than Ahn, Mi-joo answered without hesitation: "One year older." She'd also done her homework on him before the taping.

Ahn Hyo-seop admitted the nerves kicked in early. "I haven't done variety shows in a very long time," he said, "and actually almost everyone is doing variety for the first time. I thought I'd be fine but I'm getting nervous too." Mi-joo leaned in: "If you get nervous, tell me. I'll listen anytime."

The relationship context

Mi-joo confirmed she was dating soccer player Song Beom-geun—three years her junior—on April 3, 2024. Nine months later, in January of last year, she announced the breakup.

Her agency Antenna declined to comment. "We ask for your understanding that it is difficult to confirm details about the artist's private life," the label said.
