Lee Seung-yoon performs at Pentaport 2026, capping a run of awards and a 29-track album

Lee Seung-yoon took the Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival 2026 stage fresh off 0집, his fourth studio album. The 36-year-old had just wrapped a festival run that began when the record dropped.

0집 is massive. Twenty-nine tracks, all reconstructed and re-recorded from songs he'd produced independently over the years. Rock, modern rock, folk, ballad—the album spans his range. It sits at the top of a discography that's been climbing in commercial weight since his debut.

His third album 역성 opened with 104,200 first-week sales. The pre-release YEOK SEONG posted 75,100. 꿈의 거처, his second, hit 83,600 first-week copies and reached 1 million Melon streams 15 hours after release—the fourth album to land in Melon's Hall of Fame album category. His debut 폐허가 된다 해도 recorded 60,400 first-week sales and sold out both nights of a solo concert at Olympic Hall.

The awards stack up. In 2025 alone: the Han-Teo Music Awards Special Award (Band), the Best Male Solo Popularity Award at the inaugural The Awards ceremony, and a double at the Korean Popular Music Awards for Artist of the Year and Best Rock & Modern Rock Song. Before that came the Brand of the Year Awards Singer-Songwriter prize, the First Brand Awards Male Vocal prize, and the Seoul Music Awards Discovery of the Year.

It started in 2011. He performed his original song 없을걸 at the MBC University Song Festival main round. A 2013 digital single 오늘도 followed. The wider public found him through Singer Gain — Unknown Singer Tournament, where he entered as contestant No. 30 and won.

His fandom is called 삐뚜루 (Ppitturu). The name draws from a diamond shape—the idea that when Lee Seung-yoon stands at an angle, they stand there with him.
