Park So-hyun reunites with '골드미스가 간다' cast after 16 years on 'Ugly Our Kids'

Park So-hyun, Yang Jung-ah, Ye Ji-won, and Shin Bong-sun sat down together on SBS's 미운 우리 새끼 on August 2, 2026. It was the first time the four former 골드미스가 간다 cast members had been in the same room in 16 years.

Shin Bong-sun opened by bringing up Park's eating habits from the original show's filming. "When the meal truck came, So-hyun unni never ate rice," she said, noting that the word 소식좌 (light eater) didn't even exist back then. Yang Jung-ah described them as "kids who would get scolded if adults found out — kids with small appetites."

Park didn't deny it. Her father and she heat up one pack of instant rice between them and still can't finish it. One packet of ramen feeds all three — herself, her mother, and her father — and at that serving size they can still crack an egg in. Just her and her father, and they're too full for the egg.

These days, Park eats two meals instead of one. Mornings she drinks an iced vanilla latte or a glass of milk until 2 PM. After 2 PM, before her radio schedule, she eats what she wants — typically two or three cherry tomatoes. She also eats jjajangmyeon, but never mixed. She pulls out two or three chopsticks' worth of noodles with sauce already on them and eats only those.
