SBS drama Kim Bu-jang tops July 2026 brand reputation index among 21 dramas
So Ji-seop and Yoon Kyung-ho's SBS action drama hit 21.6% viewership by episode 4 and topped July's Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute survey.

Kim Bu-jang, the SBS Friday-Saturday action drama starring So Ji-seop and Yoon Kyung-ho, ranked first in brand reputation among 21 dramas surveyed by the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute for July 2026.
The institute analyzed 70.59 million pieces of drama-related big data collected from June 9 to July 9. Director Gu Chang-hwan said link analysis returned high scores for "solid," "breakthrough," and "box office success." Keyword analysis pulled "So Ji-seop," "Yoon Kyung-ho," and "viewership" as top items. The positive sentiment ratio landed at 94.79%.
Kim Bu-jang opened at 9.5% viewership and crossed 21.6% by its fourth broadcast. That's a jump of more than 12 percentage points in four episodes.
The drama is adapted from a webtoon of the same name and follows a father who confronts his past to save his daughter. (Action-thriller webtoon adaptations have been a reliable SBS play lately, and this one is running with it.)
Fantazio chairman Namgung Gyeon, who led investment in the project, said: "It is meaningful to be recognized for both artistic quality and mass appeal." He added that the company plans to keep identifying competitive content and continue investment in the global market.
