Stray Kids drop 8-track mini album 'THIS & THAT' on August 7
Stray Kids' new mini album is fully produced by 3RACHA across 8 tracks, arriving weeks after they made Billboard 200 history.
Stray Kids release the mini album THIS & THAT and its title track on August 7.
The eight-track project is fully produced by in-house team 3RACHA — Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han — the same setup they've used before. Pre-release track RUN IT is what the group calls "the song that suits Stray Kids the best." The rest of the tracklist pulls from different moods: FARMING was inspired by the "aura farming" meme, After You has a refreshing atmosphere, I Do draws from 2000s pop, and Way Out layers lyrics across multiple languages. Track 7, 그날, came from Han's pen and was inspired by a drama, with Seungmin on lead vocals — his lines go "the day we laughed together, the day we watched a movie and only looked at each other, that day." The album closes with This & That (Festival Version).
Changbin said he "put a lot of thought and effort into finding hip words to express 'this' and 'that'" for the title track's lyrics. The group described the album as one with "many new attempts" and said they "prepared without regret."
JYP Entertainment dropped an intro video, Stray Kids [INTRO "THIS & THAT"], on August 4 via official SNS, with members walking through the new record.
The release lands in the middle of a packed stretch. On August 1 they put out the 17-track digital album SKZ-REPLAY 2026 Pt.1 — timed to STAY's eighth anniversary — which includes a Korean-language version of Battle Ground from their Japanese full-length THE SOUND, plus unreleased self-composed tracks and member solo songs. Before that, they wrapped five Seoul dates of their world tour
Their previous project SKZ IT TAPE 'DO IT' made them the first act globally to land eight consecutive releases at number one on the US Billboard 200. No pressure on album nine, then.
