WHIB's second mini album 'CHERRY PIE' arrived August 5. The seven-member group has their sights set on a music broadcast No. 1.

WHIB dropped CHERRY PIE on August 5 across streaming platforms. Kim Junmin, Ha Seung, Jin Beom, Yu Geon, Lee Jung, Jae Ha, and Won Jun are back.
The title track pairs an addictive melody with a sensual beat, built around bright, high-energy vocals and dynamic performance. There's a standout choreography moment: members divide a pie into four parts and each place a cherry on top of their slice. Lee Jung called it "a song with sweet and cute sensibility like cherry pie" and asked fans to pay close attention to that sequence.
The five-track album includes Make It, a song first previewed at WHIB's debut showcase that fans had been requesting as an official release ever since. Junmin, Ha Seung, and Yu Geon contributed directly to songwriting and composition.
Ha Seung was direct about what comes next: "I want to earn the modifier 'eight-colored'" — a Korean term for someone with many different sides. He wants to show growth in both music broadcast rankings and streaming performance. A music show No. 1 would be their first.
Kim Junmin hopes the album "can be enjoyed by many people" as the group shows a different color from their first mini album. Yu Geon noted that the hiatus was spent building individual skills, and that album prep naturally tightened the group's teamwork through long conversations among members. Jin Beom thanked fans for waiting and asked them to enjoy what the group worked hard to prepare.
