Young K wraps sold-out Incheon run of 'YOUNGEST' tour, heads to six Asian cities
Young K wrapped three nights at Incheon Inspire Arena for his 'YOUNGEST' solo tour. Bangkok, Taipei, Hong Kong, Singapore, Manila, and Kuala Lumpur are next.
Young K (강영현, 32), DAY6's bassist-vocalist-rapper, closed out Incheon on August 16. Three nights at Incheon Inspire Arena—August 14 through 16—all sold out.
The Young K Solo Tour 'YOUNGEST' centers on his second solo album, released July 27. He wrote and composed all 15 tracks on YOUNGEST, which dropped alongside title track Shut The Door. The album hit number one on the Hanteochart weekly chart right away.
"Thank you for creating precious memories of my life with YOUNGEST," he told the crowd.
Six more Asian cities follow: Bangkok, Taipei, Hong Kong, Singapore, Manila, and Kuala Lumpur.
Within DAY6, Young K is credited as main lyricist on 예뻤어, 한 페이지가 될 수 있게, HAPPY, and Welcome to the Show. The band's discography runs from mini album 1 The Day in 2015 through mini album 8 Fourever and mini album 9 Band Aid (both 2024) and regular album 4 The DECADE in 2025.
His solo work began with mini album 1 Eternal in 2021, followed by regular album 1 Letters with notes. He's also DJ'd DAY6의 키스 더 라디오 and IDOL RADIO, and completed military service as a KATUSA with the U.S. Forces Korea Korean Support Unit. (He originally joined JYP through global casting after passing an audition off the back of band activity in Canada, where he studied in Vancouver and Toronto as a child.)
