A-Future adds new member Nayeon and drops 'Last Party' on September 21

A-Future is coming back with a new face and a new single. The project girl group will release Last Party on September 21, its first official move after replacing departed member Irae (이레) with new recruit Nayeon (나연).

Lineup change first, then the music

Irae left the group due to health reasons. Nayeon steps in to fill that slot, and Last Party is the first release with the restructured lineup. A-Future debuted in March through 4X4CREW, a YouTube channel with 700,000 subscribers. The group has been building its schedule around domestic and international events as well as military base performances.

What 'Last Party' actually is

Composer Jin Dae-ho (진대호) produced the track—the same producer behind A-Future's earlier song Spring Shower (봄 소나기). Soon Soon-hee (순순희) co-produced Last Party alongside Mirrorball (미러볼). Despite the title's implied finality, the song frames itself around new beginnings rather than endings, carrying a message of leaving the past behind and welcoming a fresh start. (The timing, right after a member change, does a lot of the contextual work on its own.)

Last Party drops across music platforms on September 21.
