An Chi-hwan dropped Seize the Day on September 8, 2026—his 15th regular album, arriving 11 months after 인간계 in October 2025. The showcase happened the same day in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
He's been recording solo since 1989. This one carries 15 tracks. The title is 나는 오늘만 산다. 티비 리모컨 explores what happens between spouses—the good and the bad. 그러지 않을 수도 있었어 sits with life's regrets.
Where the album came from
An Chi-hwan traced the album's roots to his mother's death. "After my mother passed away, I began to think little by little about death," he said. Travel shaped the writing too.
On what the album needed to be, he was clear: "I instinctively knew that songs which cheer on people living their daily lives or comfort them with a gentle pat were necessary."
