EVAN wins two awards ahead of mini album 'DEATH OF ME' dropping September 7

Two awards in two weeks. EVAN took home the Global-K Artist prize at 2026 TIMA, a major Chinese-market ceremony, then the All-Round Musician Award at 2026 K World Dream Awards—a category for artists with a distinct, original sound.

The timing is tight. His first mini album, DEATH OF ME, arrives September 7. The title track is pop R&B. Everything else spans UK garage-influenced pop, alternative rock, and dream pop. EVAN wrote every lyric, composed seven of the eight tracks ("Noise" is the one exception), and oversaw production across the project.

Pre-order momentum is building. By September 2, DEATH OF ME had 420,000 pre-saves on Spotify and landed in the upper tier of the platform's weekly Countdown Chart Global.

EVAN debuted in June with RIDE OR DIE. The single's title track hit number 1 on iTunes Top Songs in nine countries and regions, reached number 9 on YouTube's Daily Popular Music Videos global chart, and topped Tencent Music's weekly Korean chart in China. Three chart-toppers from a debut single.
