G(I)-DLE's Shuhua walks Toronto red carpet for screen debut film 'Happily Ever After'
Shuhua made her film debut at the 51st TIFF in September as the lead in 'Happily Ever After.' The movie is heading to BIFF in October.
Shuhua's screen debut lands at two major film festivals
G(I)-DLE's Shuhua walked the Toronto International Film Festival red carpet on September 18 for Happily Ever After (오래오래 행복하게)—her first film role. She'd attended the premiere the night before at the Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto. G(I)-DLE posted photos from both events.
At the 51st TIFF, Shuhua played Linzachi (린자치), the youngest in a family unit. Her character starts naive, then gradually sees life differently as the story unfolds.
From Toronto to Busan
Happily Ever After isn't stopping in Toronto. The film landed in the "A Window on Asian Cinema" section at the 31st Busan International Film Festival, which runs October 6 to 15. Most debut actors don't get two major international festivals on their first try.
