(G)I-DLE wrap 6-month 'Syncopation' world tour in Macau with sold-out finale

(G)I-DLE (미연, 민니, 소연, 우기, 슈화) closed 2026 i-dle WORLD TOUR [Syncopation] on August 29 and 30 at Galaxy Arena in Macau—the city's largest indoor concert venue—with all seats sold out across both nights including additional shows.

Six months. That's how long the tour ran. It started in Seoul in February, then hit Taipei and Bangkok in March, Melbourne and Sydney in May, and Singapore, Yokohama, and Hong Kong in June. Macau was the final stop, marking the group's first visit to the city in one year and ten months.

The Macau setlist opened with Mono (Feat. skaiwater), Nxde, and Oh my god before moving into catalog staples: LION, 나는 아픈 건 딱 질색이니까 (Fate), 퀸카 (Queencard), and TOMBOY. Two tracks from mini album 9 We made—Gimme Dat Love and Morning—landed in the setlist for the run. Fan song Neverland closed the night.

Solo segments stole the show. Minnie reworked the dance section of HER. Miyeon performed an arranged version of Reno (Feat. Colde) in a wedding dress. Shuhua did a solo performance in a red top and tennis skirt. Soyeon, whose solo debut full-length drops September 7, brought out STAR—a track she had first performed at Waterbomb Sokcho 2026—for its concert premiere. Yuqi went further, giving the world premiere of 은하의 춤 (银河之舞), a Chinese-language track that had not been released anywhere.

The crowd held up placards and sang happy birthday for Soyeon, who recently celebrated her birthday. The group responded by performing Chinese fan-favorite 特別的人 (Special Person).

"Performances in Macau are always special, but today feels truly unforgettable," the group told the audience. They added: "We may not be perfect every time, but we'll show you music and stages that don't get boring at our own pace and rhythm."

With Syncopation wrapped, the group plans to continue with individual and group activities. Soyeon's September 7 solo album is next.
