K/DA returns after 6 years with 'FIRESTARTER,' featuring (G)I-DLE's Miyeon and Soyeon
Riot Games' virtual girl group K/DA returns with 'FIRESTARTER' on October 19, 2026 — their first track in six years.
Six years between songs
K/DA is back. Riot Games' virtual four-member girl group dropped FIRESTARTER on October 19, 2026. Their last release was MORE, the title track from the 2020 EP ALL OUT.
The group pulls from League of Legends characters Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, and Kai'Sa. They debuted in 2018 with POP/STARS, earned RIAA platinum certification, and hit 2 million Spotify followers. Six years is a long time to wait, even for a virtual act.
Who's on the track
(G)I-DLE's Miyeon and Soyeon return as Ahri and Akali. Two new voices join them. Sophie Powers, a singer-songwriter, takes Evelynn. British singer Mimi Webb steps in as Kai'Sa.
Fortiche back in the director's chair
French animation studio Fortiche Production directed the FIRESTARTER music video. They made the original POP/STARS video in 2018 and the Emmy Award-winning series Arcane. (Having both K/DA and Arcane on your résumé is its own reason to watch.)
The video is live on the official League of Legends YouTube channel.
