Riot Games' virtual LoL boy group HEARTSTEEL returns with 'LIVE MY LIFE,' featuring Baekhyun, Anderson .Paak, Connor Price, and Nick D — roughly three years after debut single 'PARANOIA.'
HEARTSTEEL is back, three years later
Riot Games dropped the music video for HEARTSTEEL's new single LIVE MY LIFE on September 19 via the official League of Legends YouTube channel. Their debut single PARANOIA came out in October 2023. That's roughly three years ago.
HEARTSTEEL is a virtual boy group built around six League of Legends champions: Ezreal, Sett, Yone, Xsanthe, Aphelios, and Kaine. Each champion gets a real-world vocalist. The LIVE MY LIFE lineup is a notable upgrade on the debut roster.
Who's voicing who this time
Baekhyun voices Ezreal, returning from PARANOIA. Anderson .Paak takes Xsanthe. Connor Price is Sett. Nick D is Kaine.
Baekhyun is the only carry-over from the debut cast. On PARANOIA, Sett, Xsanthe, and Kaine were voiced by ØZI, Toby Lou, and Carl Scruby, respectively. All three replaced here.
The 200M-stream debut it's following up
PARANOIA crossed 200 million combined streams across platforms. Three years is a long time to sit on that kind of debut number, so the pressure is real. Whether the new lineup — anchored by Baekhyun and Anderson .Paak — can match or beat it is the question the next few weeks will answer.
