Soyou shares outdoor concert update as 'Off Hours' era continues
Soyou shared concert photos on Oct. 11, offering a rare glimpse into her life during the *Off Hours* EP era.
Outdoor stage, phone lights, and a 9-month wait paid off
Soyou (강지현, 34) posted images from an outdoor concert on the 11th. The audience held up mobile phone lights as she performed. It's one of few public updates from the singer, who released her third EP Off Hours this year—her first new project in roughly nine months since a digital single. The title track is "Girl."
A discography built on collabs and OSTs
Soyou debuted in 2010 as lead vocalist of girl group Sistar with the single album Push Push. Her solo work includes two parts of a full-length album: RE:BORN (2017) and RE:FRESH (2018). She also released the mini albums Day & Night (2022) and Summer Recipe (2023), contributing to songwriting on select tracks from Day & Night.
Collaborations define much of her solo presence. "썸" with Jeong Gigo hit No. 1 on the Melon annual chart. She recorded "틈" with Urban Zakapa members, "비가와" with Baekhyun, and "어깨" with Kwon Jeong-yeol.
Her OST credits span Goblin ("I Miss You"), Moonlight Drawn by Clouds ("잠은 다 잤나봐요"), When the Camellia Blooms ("괜찮나요"), and Mr. Sunshine ("PUZZLE"). That Melon No. 1 for "썸" remains the single most-cited moment in her solo career.
