'살아온 우리에게' crosses 1M views
Im Young-woong's 살아온 우리에게 passed 1 million views on his official YouTube channel by 7 PM on September 17. The track appears on IM HERO 10, his 10th-debut-anniversary special digital album released September 8. It's described as a song of warm comfort and encouragement for people enduring their daily lives.
It's the second track from the album to reach that milestone. The fan song 부디 행복해질 것 — which Im co-wrote for his fandom 영웅시대 — crossed 1 million views the afternoon before, on September 16.
Title track at #1, album sweeping charts
또또, the self-composed title track, reached #1 on the Billboard Korea Global K-Songs chart on September 16. On release day it topped Melon's TOP100 and HOT100 simultaneously and swept real-time rankings on Genie and Bugs. The rest of the album followed suit. Baila, 모이세, 부디 행복해질 것, 살아온 우리에게, and New York all appeared on the Billboard Korea chart.
IM HERO 10 contains six new songs — 또또, 모이세, Baila, 부디 행복해질 것, New York, and 살아온 우리에게 — plus four previously released tracks in new arrangements.
The numbers behind the 10-year mark
Im debuted August 8, 2016. By September 15, his cumulative Melon stream count exceeded 14.653 billion, keeping him at #1 among all artists on the platform. His official YouTube channel has 1.79 million subscribers and over 3.19 billion total views. More than 100 individual videos have surpassed 10 million views each.
The stadium run preceding the album added another metric. IM HERO - THE STADIUM 2 ran September 4–6 at Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium and drew approximately 95,000 attendees over three days, pushing his cumulative solo concert attendance to approximately 1 million.
Im is scheduled to perform 부디 행복해질 것 at the 2026 The Fact Music Awards on September 19 at Busan Asiad Main Stadium.
