Jeon Do-yeon & Park Hae-soo Lead tvN's 'The Great Bang Ok-suk,' an Auntie Noir Due in 2027

tvN's 위대한 방옥숙 (The Great Bang Ok-suk) lands in the first half of 2027. The casting alone carries real weight. Jeon Do-yeon plays Bang Ok-suk, the real power behind the Noblgold Castle women's association running the operation to block a redevelopment project. Park Hae-soo is Yun Tae-woong, a redevelopment association chairman with a 100% success rate who just revived a decade-stalled project.

They've worked together twice. 벚꽃동산 (The Cherry Orchard) on stage, then 자백의 대가 (The Price of Confession) as a series. This is their third time. Jeon Do-yeon just won acclaim at Venice for 가능한 사랑. Park Hae-soo took Best Actor at the 청룡시리즈어워즈.

The creative team and the full ensemble

Director Kim Hyung-sik (슈룹, 외과의사 봉달희) and writer Lee Gi-chul—whose credits run through 모가디슈, 암살, and 도둑들—lead the project. A housing-war premise paired with a heist-film writer. That's the detail worth holding onto.
