Trot singer Jeon Yu-jin posted a teaser image with the word 'adios' on September 10. Her first full-length album drops October 10.
Jeon Yu-jin is heading into her first full-length album era. On September 10, she posted the debut spoiler image for the record on her official SNS — and the word sitting on the wall in the middle of it is "adios."
The image shows a warm indoor space: pink bedding, floral patterns, landscape photos, posters, and postcards arranged across the room, with that single word centered on the wall. More album-related content is scheduled to roll out sequentially from here.
The album's lead-up actually started September 1, when Jeon Yu-jin released the pre-release track 나의 별들에게 ("My Stars"). She wrote the lyrics using emotions she had recorded in a diary over a long period of time. Stars in the night sky become a metaphor for the people who stayed by her side through the weight and fear that came with performing on competition stages from a young age.
The full album arrives October 10 across music streaming platforms.
Jeon Yu-jin broke through via the Pohang Beach National Song Festival before debuting in March 2020 with the digital single 사랑...하시렵니까? ("Love... Would You Like To?"). She took first place in the final round of MBN's 현역가왕 (Active Singers' King), where judges noted her vocal ability and emotional depth.
October 10 will mark her first full studio album — six years into a career that started on competition stages. Given what 나의 별들에게 is literally about, the timing lands differently.
