913K votes and a gymnastics ribbon in the same week
Gil Ryeo-won (길려원) dominated the StarTrend trot women's category daily vote on October 12. Her 913,753 votes nearly quintupled the runner-up. Soyumi (소유미) came in second with 188,543, then Jeon Yu-jin (전유진) at 120,737, Heo Chan-mi (허찬미) at 104,524, and Yoon Tae-hwa (윤태화) at 96,800. Ma Yi-jin, Yang Ji-eun, Queens (퀸즈), Park Hye-shin, and Bae A-hyeon rounded out the top ten.
The same week brought something far more demanding.

On October 13, TV CHOSUN's 천만기인쇼 (episode 3) aired a special stage where Gil Ryeo-won and trot singer Hong Seong-yun (홍성윤) performed live while executing rhythmic gymnastics routines. They trained under former national rhythmic gymnastics representative Shin Su-ji (신수지) to pull it off.
Gil Ryeo-won didn't sugarcoat the experience: "Rhythmic gymnastics is completely different from rhythm dance. I really regretted taking on the challenge."
(Regretting a challenge and then doing it anyway on national television is very much a trot singer move.)
