Ji Ye-eun, 32, confirmed her December 12 wedding to choreographer Bata in a Running Man preview, directly shutting down pre-marital pregnancy rumors.

Running Man cast member Ji Ye-eun will marry choreographer Bata on December 12. Both born in 1994, they were church friends before dating. They dated for one year before deciding to marry. Ji Ye-eun confirmed their relationship publicly in April — after the marriage decision was already made — and announced the wedding approximately five months later.
A preview clip posted to SBS Running Man's official YouTube channel on September 12 showed Ji Ye-eun explaining why she's marrying Bata. The proposal itself, which Bata prepared for her, will air on Running Man on September 13 at 4:50 PM.
The speed drew speculation online. Ji Ye-eun addressed it head-on: "People around me said 'that's too soon' and 'could you be pregnant before marriage?' but I'm wronged because I don't have a child." She has no plans for children yet and wants to enjoy newlywed life first.
On Bata, she pointed to how he handles conflict and illness. "He is such a warm person, and even when we fight, he speaks beautifully. When I was sick, he was a huge support — that was decisive." (The bar was low. She cleared it.)
Bata graduated from Hongik University's College of Engineering. Fellow Running Man cast member Ha-ha vouched for him: "He studies well and reads a lot of books." Ji Ye-eun acknowledged the gap — the two don't quite match intellectually.
Her future in-laws farm in Chungju and are Running Man fans. Ji Ye-eun said she missed cast member Jong-kook's concert because she traveled to Chungju to visit her future mother-in-law. Her in-laws like her very much.
