Kim Jae-hwan confirms October 7 comeback with single album 'Love, From Here'

Six months, one Billboard nod, and a new single

Kim Jae-hwan is back October 7. He announced the date on September 16 via official SNS, dropping the cover image for his new single album Love, From Here (러브, 프롬 히어) at the same time. The album goes live at 6 PM KST across music streaming platforms.

The release lands roughly six months after his April 2026 digital single I'll Come Pick You Up Now (지금 데리러 갈게). He wrote, composed, and played guitar on the track himself. That single earned a spot on Billboard's "25 Best K-pop Songs of the First Half of 2026."

'Love Storyteller' is the new era

With Love, From Here, Kim Jae-hwan is framing himself as a "love storyteller." He's planning to trace the full arc of love — its beginning, its presence, and its passing — through his own perspective. The cover image shows him sitting alone at a bus stop, a wistful expression carrying the album's emotional weight. The logo renders an X in stitch form, described as symbolizing memory fragments coming together to form a single coordinate.

Concert dates follow in October

After the single drops, Kim Jae-hwan heads into a two-night solo concert run.

Dates: October 31 – November 1, 2026

Venue: Seoul Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall

The concert title translates roughly to "margin" or "blank space," which pairs with the coordinates concept on the album cover. The album drops October 7. The shows start three weeks later.
