Moon Geun-young shared several photos to her SNS on September 1. The caption read "팩했어요" (I did a face mask), and she appeared without makeup. Across the image she wrote "피부야 오늘만 같아라"—"Skin, stay like this just for today." She seemed pleased with how her skin looked.
Five weeks earlier, on July 29, she'd announced her marriage to actor Jung Pyung (정평) with a handwritten letter posted to SNS. "I met someone I want to walk the road I always walked alone with, share the hours I spent worrying alone, and make each other laugh over small things," she wrote. "I want to fill the life ahead not alone, but as two."
Who is Jung Pyung?
Jung Pyung was born in 1980. That makes him seven years older than Moon Geun-young, who was born in 1987. He debuted as an actor in 2007. His stage work includes the musicals Aida, Ppallae, and Agatha, plus the plays Liar and Eden Beauty Salon.
They met through Bachi (바치), a creative collective Moon Geun-young founded. Both worked on projects there. Jung Pyung also starred in the short film Hyeonjae Jinhaenghyeong (현재진행형), which Moon Geun-young wrote and directed.
