Summer steps into the MC chair
OWIS member Summer is co-hosting V+ 음악중심, a new music talk show premiering on the MBCkpop YouTube channel on September 24 at 5 PM. She shares the desk with WINNER's Kang Seung-yoon. The two will perform a special collaboration stage together.
The show brings virtual artists and K-pop acts into the same space to talk music. Summer fits naturally as the face of the program. Plave is the guest for the first episode.
Six months in, OWIS keeps expanding
OWIS—Serin, Haru, Summer, Soy, and Uni—is a five-member virtual girl group under ama (all my anecdotes). The label was co-founded by Creative Director Lee Hae-in and former Warner Music Korea director Kim Jay. OWIS is ama's first artist. Their name is short for "Only When I Sleep," meaning they can only be met in dreams.
The group debuted in March 2026 with their first mini album MUSEUM, promoting with the title track of the same name. Since then they've dropped a music video for B-side juicy and fan participation game content. They've also taken part in a drug eradication campaign run by Gangnam-gu Office and Gangnam Police Station, and contributed to Ministry of Education and EBS textbook literature reading content.
(For a group barely six months old, the MC casting marks a step into broadcast territory.)
