WINNER's Kang Seung-yoon: 'It Rains' chart all-kill, 6-win King of Masked Singer run, and more

Solo single hit a daily No. 1 without a big promo push

Kang Seung-yoon's solo single It Rains (비가 온다) reached daily first place and an all-kill across major music charts with no significant promotional campaign behind it. Quiet chart dominance like that tells you everything about where he stands as a solo act.

He released his first solo studio album PAGE and followed it with PAGE 2 in November 2025. With WINNER, he co-wrote and co-produced REALLY REALLY and LOVE ME LOVE ME. Both tracks rank among the four-member group's most recognizable songs.

6 consecutive wins on King of Masked Singer

Kang Seung-yoon appeared on King of Masked Singer under the alias "Even if I sing with my feet, I'm the King! The King's True Colors Chow Yun-fat" and won six consecutive rounds. He also took first place on an Immortal Songs special stage.

His acting credits span over a decade. He played a self-named character in the 2011 sitcom High Kick! The Revenge of the Short-Legged. He was Lee Joo-hyung in Wise Prison Life, Lim Geon-uk in Kairos, and Ban Dae-su in the 2022 production The Season of Panties.

Animal welfare event and radio

On October 18, Kang Seung-yoon attended the 2026 Seoul Animal Happiness Festa red carpet adoption event at Yeouido Hangang Park in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, as a special guest. He walked the red carpet with his dog Kkeuki. Five days later, on October 23, he took over SBS Power FM's Two O'Clock Escape Cult Show as special DJ—a program that has served as a regular communication channel with his fanbase, INNER CIRCLE.

(He also plays classical guitar, acoustic guitar, and electric guitar, and has exhibited his own photography. For a main vocalist, that's a lot of tabs open at once.)
