Song Hye-kyo is joining Netflix's 'Slowly, Intensely' (working title), reuniting with writer Noh Hee-kyung for their third collaboration.

Song Hye-kyo is heading back to Netflix. The actress will star in the platform's original series 천천히 강렬하게 — Slowly, Intensely — currently using a working title. She plays Min-ja, a woman who built an unusually resilient inner self after a childhood defined by hardship.
The drama spans the Korean entertainment industry from the 1960s through the 1980s, a period rife with brutality and violence. It follows the growth of people who threw themselves into the pursuit of success with nothing to their name.
This marks Song Hye-kyo's third collaboration with writer Noh Hee-kyung. They previously worked together on 그들이 사는 세상 (The World They Live In) and 그 겨울, 바람이 분다 (That Winter, the Wind Blows). A period drama set inside the entertainment industry, written by Noh Hee-kyung, with Song Hye-kyo attached—that's the kind of pairing that gets drama fans paying attention.
On September 16, Song Hye-kyo shared photos from an event with a French beauty brand. She wore a nude-toned tube-top long dress with dense three-dimensional embellishments. (The 44-year-old continues to be a brand's first call for a reason.)
No premiere date has been announced.
