Taemin Kicks Off World Tour After MBC No. 1 Win with 'PHASE 1 : Soft Violence'
Taemin kicked off his 2026-27 LiMiNaL world tour in Seoul on Sept. 18, fresh off a No. 1 win on MBC with his new mini album's title track.

Taemin wrapped a three-night stand at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul from September 18 through 20, launching the 2026-27 TAEMIN WORLD TOUR LiMiNaL. His mini album PHASE 1 : Soft Violence dropped August 31. The title track hit No. 1 on an MBC music program.
The tour heads next to major cities in North and South America. No dates announced yet.
A chart record that kept building
Taemin's first-place finishes on music broadcasts go back to 2014. "괴도 (Danger)" started it. Then came "WANT," "이데아 (IDEA:理想)," and "Guilty." His 2014 debut solo album Never Gonna Dance Again : Act 1 moved 110,000 copies in its first week.
"MOVE" became what fans called a "MOVE disease" trend—the choreography went everywhere. Five years later, "Guilty" spawned its own dance challenge.
At the awards shows, he won Best Dance Performance Solo at Mnet Asian Music Awards in 2016 and 2017. Back to back.
The career arc
Taemin debuted in 2008 as SHINee's youngest member on the mini album Nunan Neomu Yeppeo (Replay). His solo career started in 2014 with ACE. In 2019 he joined SuperM as main dancer and lead vocalist on their self-titled EP. Eighteen years of stages. He's 32.
