tripleS sun drops Japanese single 'DNA,' second in msnz monthly project ahead of 2027 full album

tripleS sun dropped Japanese original single DNA on September 1 via global music platforms. It's the second release in unit msnz's consecutive monthly digital single project running from August through November.

The unit msnz stands for moon, sun, neptune, and zenith. Each member drops a new track on the 1st of the month, with DNA following the August opener. The song centers on "connection"—curiosity and exhilaration about resonating with someone and diving into a world not yet seen. A propulsive sound and lyrics about courage drive the whole thing.

All four singles feed into LOVE&POP pt.3, tripleS's first Japanese full-length album, scheduled for January 2027. Every monthly drop is essentially a trailer for that record.

Six sun members will hold an Objekt Trading Event on September 5 for direct fan interaction.

The DNA rollout arrives as tripleS rides momentum from a strong year. The full group released ASSEMBLE26 LOVE&POP pt.1 with all 24 members and hit a career high with title track "Baby Flower," logging first-week sales of approximately 567,600 copies. They're also currently appearing in reality show Badge War Season 4: Trust No One with Wonderkae.
