Wendy tops late-summer poll days after Red Velvet's 'Velvet Summer' drop
Wendy took the top spot in Tenasia's rooftop night-view poll (Aug 24–30), buoyed by Red Velvet's new mini-album and her 2nd anniversary hosting SBS radio.
Wendy won Tenasia's reader poll on which female singer fans would most want to watch a late-summer night view with from a rooftop. The results dropped days after Red Velvet released their new mini-album Velvet Summer on the 3rd.
The poll ran August 24 to 30. She's been hosting SBS Power FM's Wendy's Young Street since August 19, 2024, and hit her 2nd anniversary on the 19th of last month. Radio keeps you visible. A group comeback doesn't hurt either.
Girls' Generation's Yuri came in 2nd. She ended her 19-year exclusive contract with SM Entertainment on August 31, though she'll continue with Girls' Generation after the split.
Tenasia's Top Ten site is now running four follow-up polls: which female singer, male singer, female trot singer, and male trot singer fans would most want to see autumn foliage with. (Autumn is apparently next.)
