BABYMONSTER announces October 23 comeback with mini album 'CHOOM' amid world tour
YG confirms BABYMONSTER's October 23 comeback with a surprise teaser—their first new music in four months since the digital single 'SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA'.

October 23 is locked in
BABYMONSTER is coming back. YG Entertainment posted a 'COMING SOON' teaser poster on the group's official blog on October 6, stamped with October 23, 2026 at 1:00 PM KST.
The comeback lands roughly four months after the June 8 digital single SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA. Their third mini album is titled 춤 (CHOOM) and pairs two b-sides: I LIKE IT and MOON.
90,000 fans in Osaka, Jakarta next
The release drops mid-tour. BABYMONSTER recently wrapped two nights at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan, drawing 90,000 attendees combined, as part of their second world tour—2026-27 BABYMONSTER WORLD TOUR [춤 (CHOOM)]. Jakarta comes October 17.
The full run spans 5 continents, 18 cities, and 31 shows across Asia, Oceania, South America, North America, and Europe. Dropping a mini album in the middle of a dome-level world tour is a choice, but the scheduling math clearly works for them.
The October 23 release gives the fandom new material for the back half of the tour.
