Ben posts tent selfie days after September single "Chakraview"

Short hair, tent selfie, new single momentum

Ben (이은영) posted an outdoor photo on October 8 showing her standing inside a tent-like structure facing the camera — a low-key update that follows the September 2026 release of her single Chakraview.

The post keeps a steady rhythm she's maintained since 2024. That year she put out remake single 바보야 and digital single 한 편의 영화같은 널 사랑했어. In 2025 she followed with remake single 당신과의 키스를 세어보아요 and digital single 풀 꽃. Chakraview in September 2026 is the latest in that run.

From Bebemignon to ballad dominance

Ben debuted on September 6, 2010 as part of group Bebemignon (베베미뇽) with a digital single, then stayed with her agency after group activities wrapped and launched solo work in 2012. Her solo catalog runs:

• EP 1 147.5 (title references her height)
• EP 2 My Name Is BEN
• EP 3 Soulmate
• Regular album 1 RECIPE (2018)
• EP 4 180° (2018)
• EP 5 Off The Record (2020)

180° hit the top of the music charts and 열애중 sits alongside it as one of the defining ballads of the late 2010s. She also pulled off an all-kill — rare for a female vocalist — and won Immortal Songs (불후의명곡) on KBS2 three times total, including a folk duo special.

(She also finished runner-up on Mnet's Trot X in 2014, which is a whole other lane.)

Keeping active across formats

Beyond releases, Ben has been visible across TV and digital: in 2024 she appeared on Begin Again Open Mic, The Seasons – Zico's Artist, Picnic Live Sopoong, 오늘 우리 학교는, 이제 혼자다, and 지예은의 이슈클럽 시즌2. In 2025 she showed up on the 개그콘서트 corner 아는노래, YouTube channel 철든대화, and 알바구함 EP.13. The tent selfie lands in that same ongoing-presence mode — no announcement attached, just Ben staying in frame.
