Ham Eun-jung caps Vietnam stage run as MBC daily drama hits 140 episodes
Ham Eun-jung wrapped a late-September Vietnam performance while her MBC daily drama extended to 140 episodes. The T-ara veteran won two trophies at the 2024 KBS Acting Awards.

Vietnam, then 140 episodes
Ham Eun-jung performed at Vietnam's Vietnam Queen's event in late September 2026. She posted afterward: "9월 끝자락의 Vietnam Queen's 덕분에 즐거웠음! Vui quá! Tuyệt vời!" Vietnamese audiences weren't new to her—she'd appeared on HTV2's Bistro K Haengbok Sikdang back in 2019.
The timing coincided with her MBC daily drama Cheot Beonjjae Namja (The First Man) wrapping an unexpectedly long run. Originally set at 120 episodes, the series stretched to 140. Ham plays dual roles: twin sisters Oh Jang-mi and Ma Seo-rin. That one-actress-two-characters challenge anchored the extension decision.
From T-ara to daily drama queen
Ham debuted in idol group T-ara handling vocals and rap. Her acting career followed—historical dramas like Geunchogo Wang and Insudaebi, contemporary work in Dream High, then the female lead in daily drama Sarangeui Kkwabaegi.
The 2024 KBS Acting Awards gave her two trophies for Suji Matgeun Uri: Excellence Acting Award and Best Couple Award in the daily drama category. In 2025 she took the title lead in Yeowang-ui Jip (Queen's House), her first top-billed drama credit.
(Two lead roles in consecutive years plus a 20-episode extension isn't flattery—it's a track record.)
Numbers and credentials
Off-screen, Ham holds a 3rd-degree black belt in Taekwondo and trained in pansori, the Korean traditional vocal art. Her Chinese video platform channel crossed 100,000 subscribers in April 2021, earning a silver button. In 2022, her official Japanese agency announced her fanclub name: LOVE FLY. She's also appeared on variety programming including Law of the Jungle with Batak.
