Jang Han-byeol drops ballad 'Miya' five months after MBN comeback track
Jang Han-byeol released the emotional ballad 'Miya' on Oct. 12, her first new music in five months, with a live debut set for her sold-out solo concert.

Five months, one ballad
Jang Han-byeol (장한별) dropped Miya at noon on October 12 through major online music platforms. Her first release in roughly five months since "그대는 나의 별이오," a hit-song mission track she recorded for MBN's 무명전설 in May.
Miya is an emotional ballad built around what the team describes as Jang's distinctive sensibility. The title itself comes from an affectionate shortening: "미야" is the way you'd warmly call out the final syllable "미" from common names like 은미 or 영미. Familiar, close, a little tender.
The team behind it
Lyricist 이건우, known for "종이학" and "아모르파티," wrote the words. Composers 김선민 (of Maronie's "칵테일 사랑") and 최재은 handled the music, collaborating under the project team name 마술피리 (Magic Flute).
Jang said the song holds real personal weight for her: "It is a song that is truly precious and dear to me, and I am already excited and looking forward to sharing it with you."
Concert debut, already sold out
Miya gets its first live stage at Jang Han-byeol's debut solo concert THE STAR IS BORN, running October 31 and November 1 at Sejong University Daeyang Hall in Seoul. Every session sold out. (Fandom name is 은하수, for the newcomers.)
Jang addressed them directly: "I hope Miya becomes a song that stays long in your hearts. 은하수 members, please look forward to it and listen together on the day of release!"
