Jang Han-byeol apologizes to rain-soaked fans after 2026 Yeosu World Island Expo stage
The trot singer apologized to fans on Instagram after they braced the rain at her 2026 Yeosu World Island Expo performance.

Caught in the rain at Yeosu
Jang Han-byeol posted to Instagram Story on the 25th apologizing to fans who stood in the rain to watch her perform at the 2026 Yeosu World Island Expo, where she shared a special stage with Mumyeong Jeonseol TOP6.
She posted video of fans in raincoats and wrote: "Galaxy fans, I'm so very sorry." Then came a longer message: "My heart aches so much. Next time I'll definitely ask the sky not to rain. Today the weather fairy's power was insufficient."
She closed by urging fans to change into dry clothes, drink warm tea, get under warm blankets. "Galaxy fans who came through the rain and waited, I really love you. Thank you for creating unforgettable memories."
Where she stands right now
Jang Han-byeol debuted with Red Apple in 2011 and went solo in 2014. Mumyeong Jeonseol brought her back into focus—she finished 3rd overall. In September, she and Seong-ri won the final round of KBS2's Bulhuui Myeonggok — Jeongguk Trot Daechukje Part 2, performing Songgolmae's "Eojjeoda Majuchin Geudae."
On the 25th she also appeared on KBS1's Jeongguk Norae Jarang Changwon special edition. It was her first guest appearance since debut. She closed the show with "Geudaeneun Naui Byeorieo."
Her digital single Miya dropped on the 12th, roughly five months after "Geudaeneun Naui Byeorieo" from the Mumyeong Jeonseol hit-song mission. The new track explores themes of longing and well-wishes for someone departing.
Concert sold out before it started
Her first solo concert, THE STAR IS BORN, ran three shows. All sold out. The two October 31st performances sold out two minutes after tickets opened; an added November 1st show sold out in under one minute. (The fan cafe Eunhasu — Galaxy — is closing in on 40,000 members.)
