Director Jang Hang-jun had no clue Lee Sun-bin and Lee Kwang-soo were a couple—nine years into their public relationship—until he said so on camera.
The moment that made Lee Sun-bin visibly offended
Director Jang Hang-jun admitted on camera that he had no idea Lee Sun-bin was dating Lee Kwang-soo. The clip comes from the first episode of 거장항준, the new SBS variety show premiering October 15 at 9 PM, where Lee Sun-bin appears as a guest alongside actor Yoo Jae-myung.
Lee Sun-bin and Lee Kwang-soo confirmed their relationship in 2018 and have been publicly together for nine years. They met through SBS's Running Man, where Lee Kwang-soo was a fixed cast member. So when Jang Hang-jun said, "I didn't know her boyfriend was Lee Kwang-soo until now," the reaction was immediate.
"That's too much. We've been dating for 9 years," Lee Sun-bin told him, making no effort to hide her frustration.
Panelist Kim Pung (김풍) eventually chimed in—"That's right. I heard about it"—though the belated acknowledgment didn't exactly help. Yoo Jae-myung offered a warmer take: "When I see them together, it's really beautiful," with Kim Pung adding, "They suit each other well."
What the show actually is
거장항준 is a 6-episode talk program built around Jang Hang-jun holding auditions to cast actors for his autobiographical film, also titled 거장항준. Jang recently hit 10 million admissions with his film 왕과 사는 남자 (The Man Who Lives with the King). Fixed panelists alongside him are comedian Song Eun-i (송은이) and illustrator Kim Pung.
